What an adventure it is to create a new website. . .especially if you are not particularly tech savvy! Over the past several months I've been thinking that the site needed something. I couldn't quite put my finger on what, but I knew it needed to be reworked. All the changes that have been made to our brand and products were made to simplify and create a sense of peace and calming for YOU, our most valued and loyal customers. The first of these changes was to the label and the now identifyable "purple circle". That logo has been a representation of LSN and when you see it, you know what you're getting, quality products for you and your family. Next we worked on the packaging and other label characteristics until we came to settle on the colorful bottles and brown craft paper lables. Our label look changed as well by incorportating a more "apothecary" type font and design. It has been my vision since the inception of LSN to have a product and company that embodied the simplistic nature of natural healthy living. I feel, as I hope you do as well, that we've achieved that in our product line.
So here we are. . .a major change was needed to the website. One that would create ease of use, yet a powerfully beautiful design. I searched long and hard and with much dispair to find what I saw in my mind. The web host I was using didn't offer a design I was drawn to so I was inspired to look elsewhere. Let me tell you. . .there are a lot of web hosting companies out there and they are not very easy to navigate. Well, to be fair, that's probably not true. . .I'm just not overly comfortable and knowledgable when it comes to creating websites. Honestly, I wish I could hire someone to take care of all the techy stuff because I'd rather be in the kitchen making the magic happen! Nevertheless, I settled upon this company and began to work on my new site. I'm so thrilled with the result! It's easy, simple, and beautiful all at the same time. There's not too much information to overwhelm and, I feel, this is the site I've been waiting for!
There will be bumps in the road as I learn about how to create the newsletter and mailing list options, as well as perfecting the cart. I hope, however, you are patient with me as we work through these changes together.
I'm so excited about 2015 and the wonderful things to come! The market season is just around the corner and I can't wait to see all of you throughout the coming months.
